In questa area un piccolo monastero, di un ordine incerto, esisteva già nel corso del‘200. Demolito in parte se ne hanno notizie anche nel ‘400 come una sorta di romitaggio/oratorio. Alla fine del ‘500 esisteva una piccola Casa senza priore dell’ordine dei Domenicani, cosiddetti “frati bianchi”, e ancora nel 1769 vi funzionava il Tribunale ecclesiastico dell’Inquisizione. E’ in tale anno che il convento venne soppresso temporaneamente dal Decreto del ministro francese Du Tillot. Poi, definitivamente, nel 1805 quando gli unici tre frati se ne andarono.

We know that in the XV century it was a sort of hermitage/oratory, partly demolished. At the end of the XVI century there was a small House without a prior of the Dominican order, the so-called "white friars", and the ecclesiastical Tribunal of the Inquisition was still functioning there in 1769. It was in that year that the convent was temporarily suppressed by the Decree of the French minister Du Tillot. It was finally suppressed in 1805 when the three friars left.

Couvent des Dominicains
Dans cette zone, un petit monastère, dont l’orde est incertain, existait déjà au cours du XIIIe siècle. Démoli en partie, on en trouve également des tracesau XVe siècle sous forme d’une sorte d’ermitage/oratoire. À la fin duXVIe siècle, il existait une petite Maison, sans prieur, de l’ordredes Dominicains, appelés «frèresblancs ».En 1769, le tribunal ecclésiastique de l’Inquisition y fonctionnait encore. C’est cette année-la que la couvent futtemporaire ment supprimé par le décretdu ministre français Du Tillot. Puis, ce couvent fut définitivement fermé, en 1805, lors queles dernier stroisfrères le quittèrent.
